ADAME FLORES · FABRICATION

Quality is built in every detail

From 100% cotton thread to the final stitch, each stage contributes something essential to a garment or a tablecloth: its feel, its structure, and its finish. This is the journey that transforms raw materials into pieces to dress and accompany everyday life.

01 · ORIGIN

A good fabric begins with good thread

We work with high-quality 100% cotton thread. This natural fiber is the foundation of the soft feel and comfort we seek in both our garments and table linens. Before becoming fabric, the thread defines a major part of each piece's character.

Its thickness, consistency, and preparation influence how it is woven, the texture of the fabric, and its drape. Quality begins here: by paying attention to the raw material before the first pass through the loom.

02 · THE LOOM

Thread by thread, the fabric takes shape

On the loom, the warp keeps the threads orderly and taut, while the weft crosses them from side to side. This repeated meeting builds the fabric. The preparation and tension of the threads, along with the density of the weave, determine its structure and texture.

Artisan work requires observing and adjusting the fabric during its creation. This is how the surface is cared for upon which each garment or tablecloth will later be traced, cut, sewn, and embroidered.

03 · PRECISION

Measure, trace, and cut with intention

The measuring tape, patterns, and scissors turn the design into concrete pieces. Before cutting, the measurements, the direction of the fabric, and the margins needed for seams and hems are reviewed.

In a garment, each part must meet the others to build its shape. In a tablecloth, the proportions, corners, and edges define its presence on the table. A careful cut paves the way for clean sewing.

04 · CONSTRUCTION

The finish is in the seams

Sewing brings the parts together and gives structure to the piece. Stitches, seams, and hems must follow the fabric without distorting it. Care is also given to what is less visible: the inner margins, the finishing touches, and the threads left over after finishing.

When the design includes buttons, care is taken with their placement, their fastening, and their alignment with the buttonholes. In table linens, the edges and corners deserve the same attention: they are details appreciated when spreading, using, and storing each piece.

05 · EXPRESSION

Time becomes a stitch

Hand embroidery incorporates design, texture, and character into the fabric. With needle and thread, the motif is built little by little: each stitch takes a place and each change of direction participates in the final shape.

Tension is carefully managed so that the embroidery follows the surface without puckering it, as well as the definition of the design and the finishing touches. In an embroidered garment or tablecloth, the work of the hands leaves a unique expression, made of patience and attention.
